horrible 5 minutes of photochopping.
One more W210 question and I will leave you alone. A/C low side pressure too high, compressor spinning, ever seen an internal blockage? Read low, so I put a small shot in and it went up to 55 PSI right quick. Through the low side port. WTF.

what was the high side reading?
sorry for the late response.

dude no problem! High side reading is only 04 but the compressor actually was not spinning. I have read I should toss some 134 to the high side for the h/s pressure switch to close

you can. We do high side charging here at work with our big ass machine. As for that issue, assuming your fan works fine, those expansion valve a but troublesome and a condenser is not out of the question. I did a condenser and dryer on my white W210 before it was totaled.

Condenser is brandy new by the looks of it. I think I know what is up. I had cleared the HVAC codes but the ECT code came back. $17 and probably 5 minutes to switch out. Hope that is it. L/S pressure sensor is within values. Too bad you cant jump anything to activate these (I pulled a paper clip out in anticipation, didnt realize the sensor isnt a 0/1)

that is true. It of course is difficult without being there to look around lol. I'm sure your figure it out. There isn't a (oh yeah those ___ go bad all the time on those) situation for the A/C lol :]

yeah no doubt. Sorry sometimes I just need a sounding board to get my thoughts in a row!
So it isnt like volvo 850/V70 when you KNOW the evaporator has a hole in it :) and you KNOW you have to spend 16 hours to replace it.

true true, I am like that as well. In Volvo and Aston (99-), it is pretty much always compressor, dryer, lines. Same on Merc SUV's. Newer Volvo compressors fail internally shooting metal shavings throughout the system, bad times, thanks FoMoCo
